The best things to do in Newcastle | CN Traveller

We’re pleased to announce that Hiden Isochema will be exhibiting at the 17th PharmSci International Conference, taking place from 7–9 September 2026 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel, UK.

PharmSci 2026 will bring together academic and industry experts from across pharmaceutical science to explore the development and delivery of next-generation medicines. This year’s theme, “Future Medicines: Powering Pharmaceutical Science Through Disciplinary Diversity,” highlights the role of collaboration across disciplines in addressing challenges in pharmaceutical innovation.

What to Expect

The conference programme covers a broad range of pharmaceutical science and drug delivery research, with sessions exploring areas including:

• Pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery

• Biopharmaceutics

• Nanomedicines

• Materials science

• Emerging technologies and AI

• Process engineering and formulation

• Sustainable pharmaceutical development

• Patient-centric medicines

The event will also provide opportunities for researchers, industry professionals and early-career scientists to share their work, exchange ideas and build new connections.

Supporting Pharmaceutical Research

Understanding the interaction between gases, vapours and pharmaceutical materials can provide valuable insight into material properties and behaviour.

Hiden Isochema’s gravimetric sorption instruments enable precise measurement of gas and vapour uptake under controlled conditions, supporting research into areas such as pharmaceutical materials, formulation development, drying and drug delivery.

Our instrumentation can help researchers investigate properties including adsorption behaviour, moisture interactions and the stability of materials under different environmental conditions.
