Hiden Isochema at the 12th International Symposium on the Characterization of Porous Solids

We’re pleased to announce that Hiden Isochema will be attending the 12th International Symposium on the Characterization of Porous Solids (COPS XII), taking place from 4-6 May 2026 at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum in Dresden, Germany.

COPS XII brings together leading researchers and industry professionals working in the field of porous materials, with a focus on advancing both fundamental understanding and real-world applications. Organised by DECHEMA, the symposium provides a platform for collaboration across academia and industry, covering developments in adsorption science, material characterisation, and emerging technologies.

Key topics include:

• Characterisation techniques including adsorption, porosimetry, spectroscopy, diffraction, and microscopy

• Porous materials such as MOFs, COFs, zeolites, porous carbons, and polymers

• Simulation and modelling approaches, including molecular simulation, machine learning, and thermodynamic modelling

Porous materials play a critical role in applications such as energy storage, gas separation, CO₂ capture, catalysis, and filtration. Continued advances in their characterisation are essential to improving material performance and enabling new industrial applications.
