Participation at MH2022

Hiden Isochema is pleased to confirm its participation at MH2022, the 17th International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems, which is held in Perth, Australia between 30th October and 3rd November. The MH conference series is generally held ever two years, but MH2022 is the first meeting since MH2018 in Guangzhou, China. Delegates will gather to discuss the latest advances in both the fundamental science of metal-hydrogen systems and their applications within 18 specific themes, under the broader categories of Fundamentals, Materials and Applications.

Hiden Isochema and our sister company Hiden Analytical will both have exhibition booths at MH2022, and Hiden Isochema Product Manager Dr. Darren Broom will be giving an invited lecture entitled “Reproducibility in Hydrogen Storage Material Research”.

A 2-day summer school is also being held as part of MH2022, immediately prior to the main conference. The summer school features 12 lectures on key topics within the fields of metal-hydrogen science, focussed towards PhD students and early career researchers. The topics will be taught by international experts in the field to cover the key concepts in measurements, characterisation, engineering, materials design, applications, and materials properties. Hiden Isochema’s Dr. Darren Broom is one of the summer school tutors, and will be speaking on “Manometric Measurement of Hydrogen Sorption”.
