Supporting Early Career Researchers at UKPorMat 2026

Hiden Isochema is proud to support the UKPorMat Early Career Researcher Conference, taking place from 24-25 August 2026 in Liverpool, UK. The event is organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Porous Materials Interest Group and provides a dedicated platform for researchers at the early stages of their careers.
Supporting the Next Generation of Porous Materials Researchers
Porous materials research spans a growing range of materials and applications, including metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), porous polymers and zeolites. Research in the field combines materials discovery and characterisation with applications in areas such as gas separation, catalysis, drug delivery and water harvesting.
The UKPorMat ECR Conference provides an opportunity for emerging researchers to present their work, exchange ideas and build connections within the porous materials community. The 2026 programme includes plenary presentations from Prof Kim Jelfs of Imperial College London and Dr Matthew Cliffe of the University of Cambridge.
Supporting Porous Materials Research
Accurate characterisation is an important part of understanding how porous materials perform. Our gravimetric sorption instruments provide precise measurements of gas and vapour interactions, supporting research into adsorption, separation and other applications of porous materials.
As an ECR Conference Sponsor, we are proud to support the next generation of researchers and the continued development of porous materials science.
We look forward to supporting UKPorMat’s Early Career Researcher Conference and the researchers contributing to the future of the field.
