Glossary: Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) Analysis

A pore size distribution determination method, typically applied to nitrogen desorption data measured at 77 K on mesoporous materials. It uses the modified Kelvin equation to relate the amount of adsorbate removed from the pores of the material, as the relative pressure (P/P0) is decreased from a high to low value, to the size of the pores.
